Christmas time Fun! Dec 1st - 15th

December 1st
We set up the Christmas tree and the kids had a blast putting the decorations on the tree. While we were putting the lights on the tree Ellie sat on a bow and it got stuck to her bum. It was so cute I had to take a picture!
This was just before the decoration began, after a long day at work,
and a hard day of play.

Our finished Tree!

December 5th
Rich won tickets at work for the Hockey Game, and a parking pass.
Carmax rented a suite so every one around us was from rich's work.
It was so much fun! My favorite part of Hockey is the fighting! LOL

December 8th
Alex's Christmas Program! He did a wonderful job! We are so proud of him!

Alex and his friend Briggie

Why is it we can never get everyone looking at the camera!

December 13th
Yummy Pudding! She was such a mess!
But she loved every bite and she did have a spoon!

December 13th
Ward Christmas party. Everyone was dressed so cute, but before I could get a picture they were off to play with the other kids from the ward!

Dec 15th
Christopher was a Sheppard. for the preschool Christmas program. Sadly Dani was sick and so Dani, Ellie, & I missed it. But Grandma & Grandpa Mortensen, Aunt Jessica, and Kids and Aimee and James were all there which was so nice! He had lots of fans cheering him on!

So.......... we have had a blip on the blogging radar!

Dani & Topher had a great Thanksgiving Program at Preschool. But Dani wasn't very Happy about being the Turkey for the skit, she was sure that the other kids who were all Pilgrams and Indians were going to eat her!

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving in Taylor with the Hatch side of the family! The kids had so much fun playing with their cousins, with only one small speed bump, Ellie took a spill in the front yard and ended up with a face full of brick and rock. Leaving her sweet little face a little scratched up! After the turkey had been eaten and the table cleared we all made gingerbread houses with our kids. The kids loved it! Dani loved the icing, Topher loved the Candy, and Alex was all about the ginger bread crumbs!

Turkey Day ended with a few kids sleeping in odd places! Turkey coma strikes again!

The next morning Rich, our the oldest kids, my sister and her family, and Grandpa went out with a dear family friend to hunt for Christmas trees! Rich had NEVER had a really tree and was insistant that we were not having one this year........ until he found the perfect one and brought it back! LOL It was so funny how he changed his mind! Here are a few pictures from that adventure!

Oh ya............. and Grandpa ended the evening with a hair cut from Dani!

When we got Grandmas tree up we got to help her get it decorated!
The boys thought the train was the best thing EVER!!!!
